I check in at 6'0" and 280 lbs, thus I was truly in need of a shoe that not only could support my fat ass, but prevent me from taking a nasty spill which would not be pretty. The Wildcat is that shoe and so much more. The first time out the shoe fit like a glove and hugged the terrain like a mother recovering a lost child. Not once did I fear the inevitable tumble. My speed has increased over the months as my confidence improved and I owe it all to the superior design and stability of this excellent trail runner. La Sportiva is one of the few manufacturers that produces half sizes which attributed to my overall satisfaction with the 'perfect fit'shoe. Do yourself and your feet a favor and strap on a pair of these babies!
