(More customer reviews)"For the past 12 years, I have used lightweight tennies or trail sandals while in a rocky-bottomed river. Both types of shoes accumulated pebbles and gravel inside. The tennies wore blisters and took forever to dry. And the sandals came apart in the water. I tried these shoes, to my unimagined delight.
I wore the New Balance 920 shoes in the river for 10 days, without once having to adjust or dump stones or gravel out my shoes. The water drains from them perfectly - no squishing at all. And by morning, they are dry from the previous day's adventures, so they go on comfortably. The New Balance water shoes have a thick sole that cushions the feet from all those rocks, as well as other dangers in the water. They have a soft lining that will not rub sore spots or blisters. They also provide good arch support. These shoes are very comfortable; I could wear them all day. They exceeded all my expectations.
Since the price has dropped, I am ordering another pair just to have as a backup for the day when my current pair wears out. I don't want to wear any other shoe in the water ever again.
I usually wear an 8-1/2 shoe (sometimes a 9), and I found a size 9 to be perfect in these water shoes."
