I bought the velcro ones on my last purchase, and it saves me a lot of time.They are safer for me, too, because the others sometimes came untied.I would recommend going to a store to see what your size is before buying online.I now wear a men's size for the cut, and I am a woman.
My husband and I both get excellent wear and comfort from New Balance, and I LOVE the velcro ones for convenience.
