(More customer reviews)I have a wide-spead across my toes (maybe that's because I practice yoga, and am always 'spreading my toes'...). So I strongly dislike hiking shoes that are too narrow, which rub my toes, forming calluses, and making my feet feel confined when hiking. This shoe is absolutely perfect for me - light, good support, and wide enough around the toes to give me ample room without sliding around. I'm usually a 9 women's size, and bought the 8.5 men's on this one (8 was ok but 8.5 is perfect). I do not know how long it will last, but I bought two pair just in case, as it's hard and time consuming to find perfect fitting hiking shoes. The most important for me is comfort (and good support) even if it doe snot last as long as a $100 shoe.
AND- it's pretty good looking, smarter than most out there.
