(More customer reviews)I purchased a pair of these to use for cross training (plyometrics, strength training) and will be returning them promptly.I wore these around the house for an hour, and they are not comfortable with an average to slightly wide foot (mine measures at just under a C width, so hovers between wide and normal).
These shoes seemed to want to make the ball of my foot roll outward and off the edge of the shoe.The heel fit great, but my arch is now aching because of the torsion on the forefoot.This felt like a design flaw rather than some weird anatomy in my foot (I've never felt like this in a pair of athletic shoes.)
I've run in Saucony's before and been very pleased.This pair does not seem to be up to the usual standard.Save your money and invest in a quality pair.When a shoe is listed as being for a budget conscious runner, this is the company giving themselves a license to skimp on quality in the pursuit of being cheap.
