(More customer reviews)I loved the GEL-Rocket 3 model from a couple of years ago.For a while those weren't available.Then the Rocket 4's came out and I ordered a pair of them.The R3s seem to be out again, but the pictures don't look the same.The R4s seem to run a half-size larger than the corresponding(older) R3s.Note that I wear a pretty large size (12.5 / 13) so your mileage may vary.
They also seem overall slightly heavier than the older R3s.
On the plus side, they do provide a lot of cushioning -- as did the older R3s.
I play table tennis with these, mostly on a nice soft composite floor.A friend had a pair of the new Butterfly/Asics.These seem very similar to those but, again, a bit heavier.I might use the R4s for harder surfaces such as wood or concrete and move to the Butterfly model for good conditions.
