I have extremely flat feet and they offer more than the support I need to not be in tears at the end of a run. DO NOT WEAR THEM WHEN IT'S VERY WET OR SNOWY. One of the ways adidas cut the weight down is by leaving part of the sole open underneath, which also ventilates. But if you step in a puddle, your foot's wet. Buy them for the weight and the look, not to keep you dry.
