(More customer reviews)I found these shoes to be waterproof and sturdy but, they are so stiff and offer such little cushioning that my mid arch and heel got strained and I got Plantar Fasciitis.Now, instead of wearing them for lengthy walks, I only wear them for raking leaves or doing yard work. They are warm, dry, and have rugged soles so I don't worry about slipping on leaves or wet cement. They are more for motion stability then cushioning, even with a New Balance additional insole added (if you do add one, go up 1/2 size).
