(More customer reviews)I absolutely love these shoes. I run up, down and around the mountains in the Phoenix area. These are the best shoes I have worn so far. My knees were taking a beating going up and particularly down on rather large rocks. The first time I wore the Cascadia 5 I kept waiting to feel a jolt of pain in my knees but it never happened. Then when I got on the trail I found myself long-striding without even thinking about it. I have shortened my stride considerably over the years due to knee pain, but found myself taking longer and longer strides. In the end, I cut my time considerably thanks to these shoes. I have run up and down on all types of terrain...rock, packed dirt, loose dirt, gravel, and cement and these shoes have handled all surfaces equally well.
