After more X-rays and 3 MRI's it was determined that most of the pain was caused by a fallen arch and damaged tendon that might respond to more muscle control and less over-pronation.It was my rehab person who immediately suggested these extra "strong arch" adidas. I went right out and bought a pair and started feeling better in a matter of weeks. I now own 3 pairs in different colors. The arch area in these shoes is definitely much higher and re-inforced like no other I have seen. Theyprovide much needed extra support in the arch area. My only complaint is the only style I can find with this type support is sneakers.
