I'm a big fan of Mizuno shoes and typically rotate through the Nirvana (long runs 6-8 or more miles), Inspire (anything shorter than 6 miles) and Elixer (races) lines. As the majority of my runs are now 6+ miles, the Nirvana line is becoming my mainstay.I have the Nirvana 6 and the Nirvana 5, the Inspire 6 as my rotation now.I find that the Nirvana 6 is a good shoe up until about 6 miles.Any farther than that and my feet start to ache in the 'arch' area.I do not have this issue with the Nirvana 5s or the Inspire 6s (or any of the previous versions I have run in).I have had my Nirvana 6s since the end of July and put about 12-15 miles a week (total mileage is about 40 miles per week) on them.My Nirvana 5s have returned to taking the brunt of my mileage and I'll buy a few more pairs of them to last until the Nirvana 7s come out (I did this with the Inspire 3s, as I did not like either the Inspire 4s or 5s).

Product Description:
SmoothRide Engineering minimizes the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible. Full-length Composite Double fan Wave provides superior protection while offering excellent support to the moderately overpronating foot. AP + Midsole improves the quality of the running experience by offering increased rebound and a "bouncier" felling, which extends the cushion durability, while maintaining the lightweight performance you've come to expect from Mizuno.
