My feet hurts a lot faster when they're in other shoes but these give me longer hours but the though leather and the elastic around the ankle doesn't provide enough room for movement. Therefore, when you drive it pushes a lot on the front of your ankle. And even during every day walk, you can feel the restrain. If I could post pictures, I would show you the permanent bruises it left around my ankle like I've had shackles on.
